Gina Carano, known as "Crush" on Gladiator a former #3 Womens MMA in the 145 lb. category, plays Mallory a highly trained private operative for a private blacks government contractor, a few steps away from where a government can or wants to take responsibility.  After freeing a captive journalist, the journalist is found dead, and Mallory believes something is definitely wrong.  When her partner in the operation tries to kill her, she knows for sure and has to go underground from the operations company and their people as well as all governments. 

The movie touches on several genres, Martial Arts, Revenge, Thriller, Spy , Adventure. In some respects Mallory might be construed to be a female Jason Bourne but that would be a mistake.  Ewan McGregor plays the head of the non government agency that contracts to the government and he interfaces with Michael Douglas and even more shadowy character in the movie. Fellow team member played by Channing Tatum , Michael Fassbender, and another character that will have more meaning in the end game is Rorigo played by a bearded Antonio Banderas.

Gina Carano's martial art training shines and the action sequences are not spliced together rather they flow as performed as if it were a real life action fight.  Her acting is pretty much non descriptive but most of the movie has enough action and suspension to make up for most of this.  The production quality is more of a European flair with little to almost no computer graphics.

There is not much time for character development in a 93 minute movie, but there is enough authenticity in the story and action to be entertaining and keep you attention.
