Babies - well this was the movie I originally went to Reno to see. It is a documentary with no narration, just about 75 minutes of filming of four babies in their first year of life.The babies were in San Francisco, Tokyo, Mongolia and Africa. I am NOT a baby person but very definitely a cat person.

So I was happy to see cats appear in several of the families snuggling up with the mother and baby until... one of the children in the Mongolian family did something that I could not bear to see to the family cat. I don't think that the cat could have survived. I was extremely upset. So much so that I WALKED OUT. I have not done that in many years.

So if you like cats, DO NOT SEE this documentary. If you like babies and can stand to see a cat tortured by a small child, then maybe you can stand this film. I could not.
