Can Nicolas Cage carry a movie all by himself ?  Where is the wonderful actor who has brought us a whole host of memorable roles and characters ?  In a remake of a Hong Kong thriller, Nicholas Cage as Joe, a lonely assassin about ready to give up the life as an assassin has one more job with 4 killings to take care of in the Far East.  Wow...

I can't imagine getting into the head of a serial killer / assassin to understand the art of his craft.  I might like the thrill of a few chase scenes or special effects,  but  left with a disappointing script and movie .  Over all I wasted a little over 2 hours with travel time and a few dollars to avoid the heat in Maui one afternoon.  One of my favorite pastimes is a bike ride on Friday across the island and a movie then a ride back. 

I'll sum it quickly.. save your money and have an ice cream sundae or large non fat frozen yogurt instead.
